Yeah, yeah,

Mine is for my 19 month. I guess you are older, and definitely you made a right decision on that one

Mine has been on a top shelf in the garage since I bought my first TLT kit a few years ago. I figured I'd keep a hold of it in case every other RC was down for repairs/upgrades, but I still don't use the thing. Wonder if the battery will even still hold a charge? Nylints may have been junk but they were a great gateway drug, er, I mean starter rig.

I have one too, but the body and tires are the only original parts.

My son has a 1/6. He's 18mths old so I figure another 2 yrs of collecting dust on it. Hopefully all is well with it once he gets of age to drive the darn thing.

Can you list the chassis parts here?
I think I will replace the chassis sometime.
Thanks

I have the 1:6 Jeep, and the 1:18 Jeep still NIB. IDK why, not like they'll ever be worth anything.

I still have my 1:6, I think the Nylints get a bad rap. I still have fun with mine every now and then. I think because they aren't super capable it's fun and challenging to run them on the rocks. A Nylint was what led me to this website and started this addiction!

but lately...

Mine has been collecting dust for a while now

Heres a few pics:

x2 i would love to know what parts he used or even a thread. i have a scorpion and almost a whole jeep all i need is the remote.

and like others have said great gateway drug! lol i hadnt touched a rc car in abvout 5 years besides the ones my son(2yrs old) has and drives.

and recently (about 2 months of driveing the nylint) ive got close to 700$ into a scale rig build im about to embark on lol...

but i still love the sheer size of the nylints. i have done just about every mod there is listed over on the nylint thread... thats actually how i found RCC so you guys can bash the nylints as much as ya want but they bring in business and are great for a non-hobbygrade RC.

heres a video of it before i did all of the mods. i would love to gut it buildup a new frame and use some clod axles or something bigger under it.

I still have a brand new 1:6 & 1:18
I also have a like new 1:6
They are all the orange jeeps. I must say that the 1:6 is a very fun rig to drive, and actually quite powerfull for its size

I got 5 1/18 ones of which one is sealed in the box. And I got 2 of the 1/6 ones and one of those are sealed in the box. The ones in the boxes still will probably remain there for all time. The 1/6th one I drive every so often just to make sure it still works. The 4 1/18th ones have been collecting dust, but I take them camping and let any little ones around compete with them. That way they don't bug me to drive my real ones.

I custom made the chassis links & link mounts, I have a template of it if anyone wants one. The axles are Clods, Mag Meyhem motors, LRP F1 Pro ESC the chassis is set-up to hold 1 or 2 6 cell stick packs. I used the stock tires & rims, but I am making some new lock rings (the original rims are breaking). I am using Kyosho Mad Force shocks with slightly shortened springs. I can post up some detailed pics. if you guys want.

Here is a better pic. of the chassis:
