"I seen one and had to have it" Am wondering if anyone can give me some advice and links on how to mod my steering. Im new to climbing and am not sure how exactly what kit it has had installed i think the juggersarus kit (if that sounds right). Anyway the steering in it controls all 4 wheels but runs from a single servo underneath the servo tray with a rod running to each diff how can this be changed and will it require a 4 channel system for the extra servo or do you join the lines together. I also have the problem of where the shafts are joined to the axle as these are plastic and the horns are all cracked and broken any ideas to changes these would be great. Because of the amount of interest in rock crawling in the states i have been able to get a few photos but not really enough on a juggernaut. Oh yeah do the motors face forwards or backwards on the chassis cause when i run it when them facing forwards i have more speed than the other way (forward/reverse). I will post a picture of Torque asap to give a clearer picture of my confusion.

You can mount a servo on the axles like Toyo's pics. As for the motors you can turn the tranny around and that way it is always running in reverse. You don't really need 4WS but if you do you can use a reversing Y-harness to plug both the servos into a regular radio. You don't need a 4-channel one unless you want it. jugg_crawler

Thanks for the response guys after an hour or so i found out that it has the Team Juggular Racing Kit with the Long Wheelbase 4-Link Kit as well as the Juggular Cantilever Kit. While i was looking on www.monstertruckparts.com.au i noticed that they instead of the cantilevers they had the springs joined to the lower diff links from the chassis does this give more clearance or is it just another way of doing it. I measured Torque for actual paw height and its got 7 1/2 inch rise. Last question to all should i lock off the rear steering or add another servo? whats better for climbing. Once again thanks for all the help it sure beats getting weird looks from the local hobbie shop owner.

The only real reason for 4WS would be if you are crawling. As for the link mounted shocks. Yes it does give you more artic. but when my Juggy had stock axles I used to run the exzact same thing as you except I didn't have canti's. I used 4 in. Maxx shocks on the front os stock positions and Savage shocks in the rear with custom mounts. This gave me tons of flex and it crawled very well. If you want pics can get you some. jugg_crawler

yeah pics would be great. Due to some adventerus crawling today i broke my steering horn from the servo (futaba $$$$ 2 replace) so it has made the decision for me to change the servo to the diff. Because my diffs still have them enormouse plastic clamps for the links to join to i think this will be a more effective way to go as they are already cracked and broken from the previous owner this way i will be able to remove them completely and do as skyjacker has done with his servo and links. Hopefully i will be able to post a picture of it tommorow. Once again thanks for the advice it makes all this so much easier to do.
