Default cheap, longer links

Some of us have longer trucks that need longer drive shafts then just the stock maxx sliders. so this is what I've come up with,

take a female slider end and put it on the diff output, then take a male slider and slide it in both female sliders then bolt the last female slider to the tranny output. You now have longer drive shafts, also the male end will give out first so you will have a easy place to fix it when it breaks. I haven't tried this, I was just thinking it should work, right?
