Re: Nitro to electric conversion

please don't! I have one too. It's a great rig for fast bashing! And electics are pretty cheap. Please don't ruin a RS4 MT2! :( Here's mine...

Re: Nitro to electric conversion

Nitro rigs can be a pain sometimes! Search Tower Hobbies web site for electric motor mounts, find one that will mount to a flat chassis and mount the elec. motor where the nitro one is now. You could strip the chassis bare and move the radio gear around for batt. pack room. It shouldn't be too hard or expensive. Keep us updated, there might be more that want to do something along these lines.

Thanks for the the good will and the change of heart. yeah, its a great truck, i was just thinking it would be a good basher with electric, nitro IMO is more suited to the track then bashing, cant escape that rewarding exhaust note though. i'm going to pick it up sometime this week. i'll keep yall updated

Yeah, I re-read my origanal post and it sounded a bit hard. I also remember that there are still some electric RS4 MT's out there, they probably share a lot of chassis parts so they might be the easiest parts to use. Search Tower Hobbies, they have a great site to research parts from.Keep us updated.
