Default Integy lathe motor alternatives???

I called every hobby shop within an hour of my house to see if any had the Integy 55t motors. They were all sold out or never even stocked them. Speaking with a guy at the Hobby town USA in Parker, he said he was contacting trinity and some other motor companies to try and get really high turn motors for the rock crawlers, since the demand has been so high. (a guy bought one motor and a lathe to swipe out the motor a few days earlier). Anyway, he said he should know in about a week if other motors are out there.

What do you guys know as alternatives, something with lots of torque, but stays cool? I can't get more than 3 minutes of hard crawling before I have to let my P2k cool down.

Oh most any mod motor would be better, equal power forward and reverse, and no timing advance, but I mean something that is comparable to the integy motor. Maybe the Graupner motors?

I can't remember who said it at the crawl, I think it was Jason, but he said that when he called Integy, they were out of motors, he had to call around until he found a warehouse with one motor and another place with another motor.

Don't count on the South Hobby Clowns to get any in stock. I personally asked the owner of the Parker store to order them and they still have not gotten them.
I am also very close with Todd and Bernadette at the Co. Springs store and they tell me that the only Hobby Clown that will inventory them is the Westminster store because they are so large.

FYI my motors showed up yesterday as stated, straight from Integy

They're silly slow A bit of clicking noise, but that'll probably go away once they're broken in more..

The only thing I dont like is the exposed bit of the armature (where the brushes hit) I guess it'll be easy to inspect brushes though

I got a FedEx confirmation last night that a shipment was on the way. I aint ordered nuthin else lately so it must be my motors.
I got the opportunity to drive project NOFAB last weekend and really liked the control the motors give ya when reversing and stuff. Makes me look like a good driver. I kept thinkin the batteries were dead though cuz there was no punch but they are very linear and predictable. I think in a competition rig they are gonna be great.

there are no alternatives. It's the motor to go with. It's the best and it's cheap
