never mind it looks like i put my front shock mounts too high, if i lower them a little i think the front mount on the body will slide in.

Hmmm I'm gonna have to try some of these mods tomorrow after work Thanks for all the tips! Also: Does turning the tires around or cutting them have a good effect on climbing? Which is better? |

Has anyone removed the drag link? I want to take the steering motor out to "shave" it. But I can't get the steering motor out, with out removing the drag link. I don't want to make new drag link.. Any ideas?

this is how i shaved it using a licenc....i mean "scrap aluminum" the battery is mounted in the middle with double sided tape (the electrical tape in the pics was for mock-up) on its thin side. basicly the battery is flush with the upper rails. the electronics are lay flat on the rear. its a good 2 inches higher |

I tried the cutting of the bumpstops on the rear axle and it does give you a little bit more movement. Keep the mods coming!! Matt |

Do you loose any ride height with putting the shock mounts in? I guess it's not a big deal seeing as I've never gotten hung up on the body, just the massive diffs!!

So far I've painted it: Shaved it: Made a skid for it: I also remounted the battery, computers, and power switch. In addition I inboarded the springs to obtain more articulation.

I have some savage spings on mine. They are to soft to resore height lost by the mod, but will place stiffer ones when they come in. Hopefully this will maintain increased articulation and stock ride height. PS: I'am using washers that fit over shock body as spring retainers.

I have restored the stock ride height by placing the stock springs inside the savage springs. No loss of articulation. Combo springs seemed to be as stiff as the stocks in stock shock location.

Is there any right way to cut your tires? Is there a pattern that will give you max grip? I like the look of cut tires a lot more also, more agressive.
