looks 1,000 times better with black paint on the roll bars. i like the look of that 1/2 top what do you all think?
tommorrow comes inca gold paint (to match my rubi) and rubicon decals. should look nice.

have some old military pants my wife converted to shorts for me, LOL
used the left over stuff and some crazy glue. i REALLY like it. i was trying to figure out a way to keep the paint from scratching off on rolls, i was thinking roll bar padding first, then i was like a soft top would be sweet! i could have went all the way back but i wanted to be able to pic it up by the roll bars.
you might be able to find some fabric at wal-mart though...

My wife drug me to Hancock Fabrics the other day and they even had a version of the new digital camo like the Marines new fatigues. I'm going to get some to make a bikini top for my CJ5 (which is painted Krylon Khaki tan). I'm gonna use fusible bonding material and laminate it to a heavier canvas for rigidity.

I haven't even had these two for the time it takes to charge the batteries and they are already painted...what is your general malfunction mister??

The paint os krylon fusion sating black. the roll bar and sliders are krylon fusion burgundy. I have another one with burgundy body, black sliders and grey roll cage...because I ran out of flippin black and I am in the middle of the wyoming wilderness stuck on a gas drilling rig...

are you doing a special color? I am planning on doing the bed cover on the red one a flat black as soon as I can get some paint that will look right. The plastic on that cover is highly textured and I don't want to screw it up.

Im painting it Inca Gold to match my rubicon. the dealers computer system went down just as they were ordering my paint, should be in thursday. im also going to get some font stickers and put rubicon on the hood and some other cool catch phrases. probably black out the rims too.
