Default Sierra's Super build... Custom stick chassis

I ordered a few parts from McMastercarr to build a custom backbone. The wheelbase will be adjustable from 16.5" to 18.5". It's not finished just yet. I want to mount the axles to get an understanding where to mount the shock mounts. After everything is mounted to the backbone, I'll drill 1/2" holes to lighten and make the backbone look like a "gunbarrel"...

I'm interested in how you setup your shock mounts.

I'm going to setup the shocks similar to the stick chassis from TCS. Two shocks are used, one on each axle on the same side of the frame.

I hpe its not made of solid steel, steel is way to heavy, make it out of lightweight alu strong enough yet very light

Build is looking great otherways, great build so far

Looking good. You could mount your shocks like I did on my Stick-E:

Narrowed Proline 40's with Moab XL's over custom foams. I painted the frame and body. Electronics are on order.

Very cool, I like the heavy industrial look. The chevy body looks good too.
