Default Mud proofing

I'm hoping to go pick one of these up tomorrow and am wondering if i could just glob a whole bunch of dieelecterict grease on the components to water proof them. Being i live in Iowa we dont have much rock but do have lots of mud. How do these do in it.

Just ask toyofast how they do

The grease should help protect the electronics, the one part I'd be worried about is under the axles are quite a few vents that could let mud up into the drivetrain components/drive motor. Make sure you clean it out good after each mud run.

Also, I'd suggest running it outside the wet stuff for 3-5 packs to make sure it doesn't have anything wrong with it. Remember wet voids the warranty.
