| what's a good width for a crawler, wide or narrow....i'm bout to order a set of VP dirty harrys for ax-10 axles and i am wondering what off sets to get .... |

| Personal preferance and axle diff clearance really. If your running a tall tire like Panthers you can get away with a wide off set. If your running a shorter tire like the Losi Claws you might not want wider than stock Axial width. Wider is better, it will give you better side hill capability, especially with the higher profile from a taller tire. Something to keep in mind, if you run a lot of weight in the wheels, you put more stress on the knuckles the farther a wheel sticks out. |

| 10 1/2 is as wide as I would want to go on a comp rig. I am at 10 1/4 now with 5.5" tall Rovers. Truck works good at this width. |

| the widest ones vp make are the same offset as the stock wheels |

| I believe that is the 585 offset for AX-10 width. |
