Default Tuber Brazing

Can I use 38% silver brazing rod for sturdy tuber joints?...If not , what is recommended? The 45% is TOO expensive at my local welding store and I have to buy it in bulk, but they've got 38% they will practically give me!
Also, what flux is recommended? I'm using acetylene, btw...
