Then what rod ends are everyone using for 6-32 threaded rod? I started out with 4-40 but its not strong enough, it keeps bending. Justin |

4mm and 6-32 are very similar in size. 6-32 is easier to find as most hardware stores have lengths of it. The only major difference is the thread pitch but even that doesn't effect anything. |

| The pitch of the thread does determine how strong the threads are I believe.

If you want some of the strongest plastic rod ends for 6-32 thread, we offer Dubro standard and monster duty rod ends on our website. We use the monster duty versions for all of our lower links and have never had one break to date. http://www.crawfordperformanceengine...p?keywords=rod |

You can also get the Traxxas #1942 package. Has like 12 rod ends for like $8. They work great with 6-32 as that is what I have on my tuber's front end. Looking to step up to 8-32 though.

Thanks 2JSC. I have TRAXXAS rod ends right now and they are fine its just the 4-40 isnt strong enought for bouncing around on the rocks and handling jumps. Time for an upgrade to 6-32. P.S. Why are you going to 8-32? You having problems with the 6-32? Justin |

I just made a few links last night to finish up my Berg. I used 1/4" diameter Delrin tube drilled to 11/32" with a hand drill. Some 8/32" all thread cut to length, and the Revo rod ends. The 8/32" threads into the Revo ends just fine and gets a great bite. The delrin pretty much just acts as a housing. I dont see myself breaking these anytime soon. |

The 5348 rod ends are the same as the 5347 ends...only they have a bit larger head on them. 5347 ends are the push rod ends...which are not the one's you want for 6-32. 6-32 will slip right in a fall right out of these. For these you need 8-32. I think you are trying to say 4mm & 8-32. |

| I am fairly certain that the Revo GTR shock ends (PN 5469) will work with 6-32. I know some people on here have used these ends to make susp & steering links, but I'm not sure what size rod they've used in their application.

| Nope. 6-32 is too small for Revo rodends. 8-32 is perfect. Get yourself an 8-32 tap and thread the Revo rodends first though. If you're set on using 6-32 allthread, go with Maxx rodends.
