Default Ditch servo savers?

Running an Ax10 rock racer. Has a 7T Cobalt. I run 4ws and dual servo savers. Is this stupid? Should I switch to horns? The servos are Hitec 645mg

I would say there good for saving that 645mg from a curb strike but... its not helping you when you need to get that power to the rocks and move that rig around... so I say lose it ... and also save up for a good servo, it killed me to buy a $100 servo the first time.... but wow it was a world of difference

X3...unless you're going to be spending most of your time "racing" instead of crawling. If you plan to haul ass and jump, you'll want that ss to absorb the shock. Otherwise, ditch it if you're going to crawl.

Or just get a high quality, high torque, metal gear servo and forget the servo saver completely
With a good servo there is NO need for a servo saver regardless whether you are racing or crawling.

Yes... and keep the receipt if you buy it new. If you manage blow it up, Hitec has a killer warranty (won't warranty gears usually though). Never skimp on servos, no matter if it's crawling or racing...

Yes aluminum arms are the way 2 go. Make sure you set your end points so you dont burn up servo and crawl away.

If you want a strong aluminum arm that won't bend get one of these.

I have bent many other brands of aluminum servo arms...not these. These are beefy
