Default Arrow links & link mounted shocks

Well I've done some searching and didn't have much luck. I'm trying to mount shocks to arrow links. Since the links are fairly large the plastic tube clamps are too small. I can't find any the right size. Anyone have any ideas? Aside from milling some. Which I can do but I'm looking for a simple fix.

Shaft collar with a set screw. I found some at a local nuts and bolt place and a hardware store.

Mcmaster has a good selection of them. Search for Shaft Collars.

You weld or braze 2 tabs that your shock end goes into and bolts down.

Like this.

I just run the plastic tube clamps on my arrow links and tighten the $hit out of them. No problems so far.

Be sure to wrap the link with some thin rubber of some kind where the nylon or plastic mounts go. Gives it better grip.

Not required.

heres a kind of ghetto way to use the wheel collars in conjunction with the plastic mounts.

it makes for uber easy shock positioning but obviously you wouldnt want then in a spot on the link where they would get hung-up.

btw, tower has those collars. search dubro wheel collars and just get em for whatever size your links are.

If rckjeep is using the arrow links that he got from me, then I believe that the OD of the arrows he has is 11/32". Which is only 3/32" larger than popular 1/4" solid links but the arrow shafts just seem to dwarf the 1/4 links
