well I've tried the search button but maybe I'm doing it wrong but I wanted to ask is, I'm wanting to build a leaf spring suspension, and I was wandering what kind of dampner do I buy? like a regular shock or is there different one? also can someone show a pic on whats a possible best setup like in their opinion

Anything is possible it just depends on what you want for you particular application, and how much you want to spend.

I know but I was wandering do I just buy shocks and remove the springs or is their a damper I can buy for it instead

What you want in a damper is the internals of a shock - the oil and the piston it runs through. So any shock that fits your application with the spring removed will work for you. The spring in your case will be the leaves. I don't think I've ever seen a damper only unit... |
