| Little painting tip for you Jeep guys.
Since to do it right you have to paint both inside and outside the windshield, I came up with a way to keep your windshield clear and the right shape. Tape the outside of your windshield, make sure to use a credit card or your fingernail to push it right up into the trim ring around the window. Cut it out on the inside of the moulding and peel it up. Line this up and stick it down on the inside so the clear is covered, if you cut like me and cut around the windshield wipers on the outside cover the extra openings with a small piece of tape, and you'll end up with a result like this. Thats a hint at my jeep's new color as well, Model Master Champagne Gold Metalic. |

i taped mine off just like that... turned out great. if you do get overspray on it, use some WD40 and a cotton swab to get it off...

So take it off before you paint , then put it back on when you're done painting |

Uh, then its a diffrent color than the rest of the body. Why would you go to the trouble and then put the orange windshield back on?
