Default Two tone paintjob.

Painted the scorpion, used what I had laying around. I think it turned out pretty good. I want to paint the wheels, just haven't got around to it yet.

What do you think?

You did that with just what you had laying around? Wonder what it would look like if you acctually prepared especially for it.

On the tires I cut all the SMALL blocks out and left the big ones. There are pics of it elsewhere in this forum, just not sure where.

If I had time to prepare, I wanted to camo it, winter camo. Not a zebra stripe, but more true winter camo. I would need to borrow the neighbors airbrush, buy paint, do a real mask job with blue painters tape. Start with a white background, then add browns, greens and blacks. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the compliments.

I was eyeing that job! How did you go about masking it? I had a few ideas about making some templates, but don't want any patterns apparent.

Man, I don't want to paint it again......

i just painted it khaki then just started pinted it/no patterns or masking/did the same thing with my 1:1 jeep//these are my first two camo jobs//full size first/scorpion second! i used spary paint into a lid & had to put like 8 coats on it//i wont do that again! when i sprayed it covered great but i guess its too thin to bruch on

I would either airbrush it on or use brushable modeling paint.

i agree/spraying into lid then brushing it on really sucked//took way too many coats & was way to thin!!
i'm gonna pick up some model paint to start detailing soon!
