| Front or Rear springs
I messed up one of my springs, so i'm removing the other one on the same axle. I read that it is better to have trimmed springs then no springs at all. My question is, if I were to only have 2 springs, is it better to have them on the front or rear? Oh and the springs I have are trimmed 4 coils, if that matters. EDIT: Oh and it's the Jeep one if that matters either. Thank in advance, Taylor. Last edited by XJ96PA; 08-28-2005 at 10:03 AM. |

use them up front/you can run the shocks with no springs on rear

I would run them in the rear. I found on my TXT that it works better with a stiffer rear end and a looser front end. This helps the front wheels flex around while keeping the rear end planted. Since it is easy enough to move them around, experiment a little and see what happens. Just my two cents. Dan |

I'd run them in the back, it wont want to drive under itself as much.

put them in the front. with no springs in the front, my Jeep would sit on the front axle... this caused it to sit a little to one side. i don't know what the scorpions are like, but i found that problem on my Jeep.
