Default 1/18 crawler, anyone else making them

Obviously Losi has their mini crawler, ( I have 2), but anyone have the inside scoop on anyone else coming out with one?

Has anyone heard if Associated or HPI (not the Wheelie King) is planning on a crawler?

Sorry if this has been asked before, tried a search, came up with a bazillion hits., nothing specific.

Just wondered this yesterday:
New minis?

My gut feelings are that either the comp rules will change a bit to include the two motor cliff climber or more companies will come out with a mini.

Axial is a good bet though.

Axial has 1 on the way along with someone else... Dont expect the rules to be changing to include the CC.

HPI has a crawler coming out but, its basically a modded WK.

I can't wait for an axial one.... Brushless 1/18 scale crawler sounds like a ton of fun with a small homemade course in the garage.

It would be much easier to adapt the Cliff Climber to a 2.2 rig then it would to an actuall rig to compete with the smaller Losi.

That Duratrax 1/14 crawler seems like they tried to fit every little gadget and blingy piece they could into it, and the CG looks like its about 6 miles up, that thing, regardless of what class it gets stuck in needs a lot of work, and I can see that being a complete noob

The Duratrax isn't a 1.9, besides the 2 motors.
