I dont boil them at all. I took a screw driver (flatblade) and grinded a slot into it. Then I slide the first side of the yoke into the shaft and pry the other part in. Im sure there is a tutorial around here somewere.

Just use some needle nose pliars to ben the tabs just a bit and push that sucker in there.
