| R2D Enclosed or Open?
I did a search and havent really found much on if the R2D Enclosed is worth it over the open version of this trans. Only downside I can see is not being able to visually check its operation. So open or closed dig? lol |

ive heard the enclosed works better and is easier to get up and running. the 3 rods (*if i remember correctly) in the rear of unit, if not torqued down properly or if the screws get loose it can lead to binding.

yeah Im not sure if its worth the extra $20 or so. Seems like alot of people on here run the open version though. |

from what i know the enclosed version is fairly new, thats probabbly why you've noticed less people running them. from personal experience i like the enclosed version more compared to the open. the way i see it.... the less parts the better. and thats why i run a DNA dig |

well my R2D showed up today, got the enclosed version. Same as the open version but instead of spacers over the 3 dig screws there is a plastic tube around the dig. Not sure if its worth the extra $20 but it looks nice. |
