how to make a dig unit from a nitro reverse
 

i made this shafty dig unit from a duratrax thunder quake reverse, i am almost positive that the savage reverse would work too.

i glued this gear in so when the shaft disengages the sun gear it gives the rear dig and still spins the front

Pretty neat.

Looks like you got nearly a 1/4 turn of "slack" on the brake side. Lotso back up points in a comp. If you can take the "slack" out of it,it'd be better.

No slack and shifting smooth,specially when in a bind is a hard thing to do.

looks good, great job of makin your own dig hope it works out great for you when i first got into crawling some friends and i made our own dig setups and that was the coolest feeling makin something work great job.....P III

yea i kind of try to make everything but some times i have to admit when i am beat lol. the video showing it working, the 1/4 is a illusion well not really, but more if i had 3 hands and putting more pressure on the arm it wont move. it is going on the pti/ wheelie king hybrid the one in the background with the badland tires.
