Default how to build a resister dig for the berg

you need these 2 packages one set for each switch

and the switches and the servos and i used 12 gauge sj cord

then set it up like this

i actually used thin ca and glued the switches to the servo , but be careful because too much ca will stick the switches too and wont make them work so use it sparingly

here it is on one side of the chassis and using the metal bottom of the berg as a heat sink for the resisters

and here it is in action, when i have the dig engaged at a slow speed the rear wheels or the dig wheels still move but at a slower rate , but when i give it full throttle in dig it locks the wheels and i can spin in a tight circle

So this only gives you dig at full throttle? Does this work better than just a switch dig somehow? I think im missing something

Yes, I'm curious to know how the resistors help? Can you explain a little please?

I think what he is going for is to lock up the axle. The one thing I like about the MOA dig is that it is semi free wheel. But if you want the axle locked then this would be the way to go.

with a 12 tooth pinion and strong springs on my rear motor my Hr axles hold me tight. Even when digging down hill.

If I understand the resistors correctly.

He is not increasing the amount of drag effect by shorting the motors, just limiting how much via the resistors thru variable throttle input.

Great idea to fine tune your dig system, kind like a clucth or the brake controller in the tow rigs
