Losi Crawler Shocks

Do these things leak more than any other shock on the planet or did i get a bad batch. In droop they were only a little leaky. Switch them to sprung and i had 4 empty shocks both times i took it out to tesk them?

mine leak alot too, i think it is a common problem. i just put 40 weight oil in and put teflon tape on the threads to see if it helps....

If you have the 2.2 shock set, then you need to crank down on the shock cartridge, they can not be hand tightened, you need to use a wrench or pliers.
If you are using the Mini Shock set, you should add the second set of seals that are included with the shocks.
Both these should solve your leaking issues

From your title I assume you're talking about the 4" Crawler shocks. How did you build them?

I had the same problem in less than a week i drained one and the others had a little left, so i filled them up and took pliers to end caps and havnt leaked since.

They are dif shocks but I put Teflon tread tape on my son's stock Wheely King shocks & it realy helped stoped the leaking. I want to get the Losi's for my rig I'm building, but I can't find them on Losi's web site. Were can I find these Things @, & do they come in crome.

I forget they are available in a kit now, I'm so used to piecing them together and having to build the seal cartridges:ror:. Sounds like you might know what the culprit is now"thumbsup"
