Front axle lost power in low

Alright out driving this morning eveyrthing going great, then all of a sudden my front axle stopped getting as much power in low range. It still shifts between high and low, but when in low it won't crawl up the same surfaces that it used to. What's going on?

take it apart and check your belt. I would bet yours has worn so much that is is either glazed and can't grip, or really dirty and can't grip. Check that out.

Oh alright, that's easy enough. Thanks for the idea.

Yeah I don't even see a band in the front axle at all. Is it inside one of the white cylinders?

I don't know, i'm just going on reports, I have never take the front axle apart. There are pics floating around, I will try to find one.

look on the driver side and then you will see the band

Interesting, I guess I'll have to look harder. Is the band wrapped around a black wheel right next to one of the white cylinders?

aye

Yeah found it, seems to be working fine. Must be something internal, guess I'm outta a crawler for a while. Is stuff like this cover under warranty?
