Looks good Kyle! I still need to paint my 1:18's . I busted my pin mod on the scropion and the axel rotated and crawled up against the front. It was funny, wish I had a video of it. Jeeps still stock |
Ok, so I got bored and started doing some slightly different mods: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...y/P1010014.jpg The cage is only done on the front, the rest is next. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...y/P1010019.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...y/P1010022.jpg The lights are ridiculously awesome, I can see everywhere. |
How in the world did you get that much flex? It looks like you moved the lower shock mounts in the rear inwards, and noticably got rid of the springs. |
looks really good i like it!;-) |
That exo is cool :) |
that thing is way cool kyle. keep up the good work. thanks again for the LEDs. i should have them hooked up in a couple days. |
Cool rig kyle. How did you get your LEDs working. And how are those shocks set up I want to see a close up if you could. Well nice work:twisted: |
Shocks just have a plastic peice inbetween the stock axle tabs and then they are mounted in the middle. I don't have a digi so I can't get more pics. The LED's are wired in 2 and 3 LED circuits parralel to each other with resistors appropriate for a 9v and the number of bulbs in the circuit. The holes were made with a soldering iron and they are held in place bya squirt of silcone caulking. They are powered by a 9v and are completely seperate from the chassis so removing the body is still easy. |
