| Help Choosing New Steering Servo - 1/8th Scale Crawler
I think I am in need of new steering servos for my Gmade Spider. It only seems to turn while moving, not so good on tricky rocks or when stationary. Need some advice on what to look for. Currently it has a Hitec HS645 (front) and unbranded (rear) servos. Been looking at ratings, and am I right in thinking the higher the Kg, the stronger they are, or the move force they have? The HS645 is rated at around 7-9kg/cm. The servos I am looking at using are rated 12-15kg/cm. Any help and advice would be very much appreciated. Cheers, Drew |

im looking but dont see it, but anyone know what Airtronics warrenty is? 90days isnt it? the Best thing about JR is 3yr warrenty. had a Z9000T drop out at 15 months, got a new one a few weeks later thru warrenty. the new JR Z9100HVT is a killer servo for if your running a 2s lipo. otherwiset the Z9000t, Z9100t or the 8711 are all great servos. |

Thanks for the replies, been trying to find a UK supplier for the suggested servo's and not many stock them. And they are expensive.... |

If you can make your own Mount. The MG9805 is a good choice. They're BIG, but on a Super there plenty of room.

Have ordered some 15kg servo's for now - until I can afford some better ones. And can use them in other rc trucks later. Will keep looking, the money is the biggest problem at the moment, dont have that much to spend. Thanks. | |
