Default at last... 38,44 super swamper TSL Radials

hey guys now that i have your attention, can someone please tell me why i cant buy a set of 38,44 super swamper TSL Radials yet.yeah yeah there are tires that sort of look like them......NOT. when we go to such extraodanary lengths, late nights and skined knuckles and lots of money trying to make our rigs look as cool and scale as possible.then the companys who make our tires for us dont seem to be listening to us.ok rc4wd proline and whoever else come on step up to the plate and do it.as i sad we spend alot of money on our rigs.i would be more than happy to pay an extra $5 bucks a tires to cover interco's licenceing problem that is stopping these tires from being made........dose every body agree that you would be willing to pay a little extra for licencing ? some 1.9 & 2.2 exact scale 38 & 44inch super swamper TSL Radials would be a great start. http://www.offroadreport.com/super_swamper_tires.html

Radial tires suck, why would I want a scale version of a sucky tire? :-P

Are you talking about 2.2 tires?
RC4WD has made some great looking tires, I wish the Rockstompers were stickier though.
The Losi Carvers look just like a Pitbull Rocker.

I do wish I could get an IROK tire though, so even though there are options, I will agree that we need more Interco tires.

2.2 der!!! The bruiser is a killer scale rig,but wtf are those tires. C'mon im sick of all these kinda looks like tires. I just wish someone with some nuts would satisfy this often overlooked part of our hobby that is screaming to be taken to a new level.imagine your bruiser or tuber with a real scaled down set of swampers.now that would be the next level.

I'm pretty happy with the RC4WD tires, I applaud their work and most people mistake pics of Guido for a 1:1.

But like I said, I agree that more scale Interco tire options, and ones that are made to exact scale, is at the top of my wish list too.

You apparently don't understand how Rubber tires are molded. Take a look at the gaps on the TSL's or IROK's. Their gaps are small in 1:1 sizes, now try to replicate than on a 1/10th scale version...see the problem?

Also you are taking about a $50,000 mold to produce these tires. JUST to pay the tooling they'd need to sell 10,000 pairs of tires @ $5 ammortization per pair sold. You think RC4WD sells over 10,000 of 1 style of tires a year? Now we have to pay more to get them legally licensed...? More money upfront.

Simple mathematics. Until scalers sell as well as say 1.8th scale buggies you might have a chance. Otherwise you have plenty of real nice options from Pro-Line, RC4WD, and you can always cut/shut and modfiy current tires.

The Losi Rock Carvers are licensed by Pit Bull tires. Maybe Interco could be next.

thanx for the jab mr glass is empty binarybummer.i have a couple of sets of 1/25 swampers ,now aoshima must of thought it was a good idea to make them. Why cant the same tread dimentions that the rock stomper have be used..and i dont mean exactly the same as rock stompers.i mean lug spacing and maybe lug size.give or take a little till it looks right. So i stand corrected not an exact scaled down version.

I took the RC Crawler magazine to my 4wd club meeting last month. Some of the guys couldn't believe it was an RC even after I showed them the title of the magazine.

Love those pics still.

Because it's all about the bias-ply tires.

These are the closest thing to a Super Swamper TSL..........

Trail Doctor XL, I think they only come in 1.9 right now.

They have weak sidewalls that get cut all the time.
Like 2JSC said, it all about the bias ply.

Molding hard rubber and soft rubber are different processes when it comes to fine details. You have a hard rubber tire that looks good...or a soft rubber tire that works and looks good?

Why not use SDI Trail Docs...look very similar to those 1.25th scale Aoshimas:

It's all about the 2.2's. There are lots of 1.9 options.

If RC4WD can do a tire with small tread blocks like this in a 1.9, why not a 2.2?
