Super Class Crawler Questions

I have a super class crawler project in the works and need some input. First off, what are the track and wheel base specs, is there a standard (min/max)? What is the best transmission for a shaft drive super? I also can't decide which way to go for tires and wheels, T-Maxx sized? Taller? Narrower? Let's hear some opinions, and thanks in advance.

should i build it for you too?? :flipoff:

14"-18" wb all depends on terrain, course design etc.
40 series tires
I use what ever trans I have laying around, WK has worked well (clocked of course) Used to use an e-maxx but its too bulky and tall.

I ran a shafty last season (and won) but I only did well because there was no consistant super class showing. My opinion (take it or leave it) ditch the shaft idea and get some clod style axles.

Has anyone had any luck with the 40 series moabs? What is the best crawler tire for 40 series?

Pro-Line has stated they have a new Super class tire coming out. Might keep an eye out for it.;-)
