| Aluminum Fastners = Strong Enough?
Looking to swap over most of my fastners on my Axial based comp rig and wanted to know if Aluminum Fastners can take the abuse? I also wanted to know if anyone uses nylon lock nuts instead of the normal metal lock nuts? Thanks |

Nyloc seems to hold up to repeated use alot better and wont loosen up under vibration. What grade aluminum hardware? I would think it would hold up to light use pretty well. Such as the hardware that holds the axle halves together. But why not go with steel? |
