Default mini t reciever/esc

I noticed this unit is sealed, compact, and can be found for teh cheap. would it work with the scorpion electronics or will the twin motors be too much for it?

You'll need to swap in a steering servo as well.

It should handle the stock motors in parallel just fine.

Word of warning...if you go to an aftermarket radio get one that has end point adjustments on steering. If you don't the servo will have WAY too much travel for the little truck and stress the entire steering assembly.

Keep in mind you'll have to use the Mini-T servo as well, or mod a regular servo to work with the Mini-T electronics. The stock Mini-T electronics have the servo controller on the PCB, not in the servo, so it's a four wire setup to the servo from the PCB. It's possible to mod some servos to work by by-passing the circuit board in the Servo and wiring directly to the sensor and motor. I'm not sure on the specifics though, never done it.

No, the stock servo does not have a sensor. Well, I don't know that for a fact but I can't see why a non-propo servo would have a sensor. So, you'll need to buy an Mini-T electronics set that comes with a servo if you are buying the stock Mini-T electronics that is. Ugrade electronics for the Mini-T typically change to a more conventional servo setup.
