Those little 1.9 Losi crawlers are cool, I want one, but I wouldn't give up my Ax10 for it...

It depends, the axial RTR is geared more towards a basher kinda then a crawler. The Losi MRC doesn't need much in the way of mods to be very capable. In order to really make the axial RTR a true crawler you need at least change the gearing or go with a 55t motor. So long story short the MRC is more "Crawler" out of the box and the Axial rtr is more "rock racer" out of the box. So whatever style fits you best! |

| my buddy has the RTR, & yes the lower gear will do the job. You will need to up grade the links after a wihle, but the stock ones will hold up for a good time. You will need to do some free up grades such as drill holes in the rim's, & cut the foam's. Plus put stick on weights on the rim's, & look into lowering the ride height by putting fuel tube in the shock bodies. Just shearch cheap up grades in the Ax-10 forum. A good set of tire's will be one of the best things you can do. Good luck. |

me personally I would buy used and not new it will end up costing you a lot of money to make a stock axial work and perform. new isnt always better |

Hello - The losi crawler that is coming out has front and rear dig... is that legal in comps? It has so many awesome sounding points to it. I currently have the scorpion and love it, but don't have much money into it. Just starting out, but have been crawling for about 5 months now. Maria

The original poster is refering to the Losi MRC 1:18 not the new 1:10 losi that is coming out in a month or two. and Yes front and rear dig is legal in comps. MOA's have been using it for a while, us shafties are finally starting to get the option. | |
