Default I've got 300$ - what to buy?

Hello!

I need the best for about 300$ in mini crawlers (up to 1:14)

After market analisys i think this could be good for me:

1. PTI 1/18 Goliath Rock Crawler Kit (170$)
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNXA4&P=0

2. DuraTrax 1/14 Cliff Climber Prebuilt (140$)
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXURC2&P=0

For this kits i can buy:

1) Novak Rooster Crawler/55T Motor Combo
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXTJD6&P=M

2) Hitec HS-645MG High-Torque 2BB Metal Gear Servo
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUZ89&P=M

3) Tower Hobbies 6-Cell 7.2V 1500mAh NiCd Stick Std Plug
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJA83&P=M

4) I've got radio gear

Total =160$

3. Team Losi mini rock crawler (240$)
http://www.modelflight.com.au/team_l...ck_crawler.htm

And with the last crawler i get an RTR with 2.4G, but not such cool motor and ESC.

So what's the best?

I would buy the axial builder kit from CKRC $149.00, MFM black widow chassis $39.99, Panther tires $40.00, wheels?. Then save for the rest, you will not be dissapointed by doing it right the first time. If you buy a kit you will be upgrading parts overtime anyhow!!!!

I would go for the Losi mrc. The motor and esc are decent for a rtr.

Based on your location, I would consider which one you can get parts the easiest for, (you will break plenty with any of those choices!)

I have the Losi MRC and i think its awesome. The motor and esc hold up great, the only thing I changed was the steering servo. There are sooo many ways to mod it to.

But you know, it's very big! I live in Moscow and i don't have any hills or rocks to climb up, so this crawler is too much for me i think

The goliath and the cliff climber are both on 2.2 tires. Not much size differance except the losi will have a longer wheelbase.

With that being said. $300 would buy you a Losi mini crawler and a set of blue compound claws. Then get a better servo.
