i'm running them now, not sure which brand they are got them from a fellow crawler. i got proline 8 shooters mated to them. before the change my tires were rubbing my servo and shock when full lock to the left. but thanks for your opinions and also one more question, are they legal in comps?

Only legal if your track width is still within the measurments.

i know this may be a stupid question, but measuring the track width is from outside of tire to outside of tire right?

I have never really liked wideners, just because of all the add stress they out on your out stub shafts. You can use them but buy a few sets of replacement axles so when they break you can fix it quick. Also look into a set of bearings for the outer axle as these too will fail in time.
