Default 2.2 droop steel tuber

Ok I was going to document the whole build as usaul but after getting the start of the chassis bent I just started building.

I wanted to try a few new things so instead of modifying something else I did a new one & am way happy so far.

The steering stuff will be here tomorrow so I can get it setup for the comp, oooo so much practice time.

It will be high steer & maybe bta, we will see. I still have to play with the ride height & the shock setup but I do like the way droop handles.

Here are the pics:

Why do you have your battery packs on the rear axle. Wouldn,t you have too much weight on the rear and not on the front. Just my 2 cents.
the chass is looks frikin sick by the way. great skills man.

Thanks!

I don't run any weight in the wheels & with the weight in the front wheels it is balanced at the center of the trans.

Thanks!

I use .030 clear polyester sheet found at LHS & use automotive grade vinyl on the back side for color so I never have to worry about paint chipping or my receiver falling off of the inside of the roof.

Thanks guys, I like it better than the other one so far.

I didn't make it to the comp as the steering parts didn't arrive until this morning but it is now ready & I did go BTA with it for clearance & servo horn protection.
