I believe most run the 4.0 but I have been running the 3.5 with 4" shocks for a soft setup.

It works with the 4" shocks but it was designed for the 3.5" shocks. I just like to run a really soft setup. I have been running the traxxas big bores without a problem and they are very smooth. | |
