just wondering hi, I see were alot of you guys are tearing up your gears and I was just worndering how hard you run your crawler. Do you try to climb something and do alot of hopping until you get traction and how many run do you get before you strip you gears? |
I got about 10 runs before I started getting slippage. I run it hard but I don't try to abuse it. I stop and change direction if it starts to bind. |
I punish my nylint. I keep it in a position until the motors STOP  3 weeks and still kickin! |
i take it farly easy with mine and i have striped both axles i about a week and a half. my dad drives harded than i do and he has no problems yet. |
I run 2.2 tires and stripped out one rear axle drive gear before i saw the misalignment b/t the driven gear and drive gear on the reduction unit. Now it's fine, i can bind it up and stall the motors and nothing breaks. |
