Default steering HELP!!

pulled steering cover off to see why its not returning to center from 1 way but will on the other. When i pulled the last screw out the spring popped. So now im trying to figure out how to get the spring on and get the cover on. HELPP!

When the spring is off the 2 legs cross each other. You have to spread them apart so they are not crossing and set one leg on each side of the stud beneath that particular gear. When re-installing the spring, put it on behind the gear so next time you dissasemble it it won't shoot out anywhere.

Mine does the same thing but the controller sticks to the right so I haven't messed with it. Just learned to deal with it....much like my 1:1

mine doesnt return but I aint gunna do anything I am gettign a new elec set up!!!

Well, i got the spring back on. But i still cant figure a way to fix the back to center. I got a few old servo's from my Nitro rustler but i am RC inclined. So someone would have to explain the whole deal to me, and would i still be able to use the same controler?

i replace my steering with a servo running stock electronics//

steering is too fast but i'm gonna try a couple resistors to slow it down..maybe tommorow. other than that it does work//just no straight!
