| Newb info... Just making Stuff
I don't know what else to call it. I want to make a Jeeperman front bumper like the one I have on my TJ and have no idea what materials to use.:-? I know some of y'all have been doing the RC stuff for awhile now... any easy suggestions. Just a basic square tube bumper with a couple tubes on top. Errrr... Like this Same would go for a tire carrier for the rear. What kind of materials do y'all use to fab this stuff up? |

| If it were me, I'd use 1/4" square aluminum bar for the bottom (and a faux winch mount) with 3/16" aluminum rod for the bars. Just cut the bar at an angle, bend the rod to the desired shape, then drill and tap the bar, then screw to the square stock. -WRM |

one guy used a plastic cloths hanger to make a snorkel... he heated it up and bent it to the shape he wanted. it's the Liberty-bodied nylint...

Good suggestions...all of them. I may try a couple and see which holds up to the destructive nature of my toddler |
