| 1:6 Nylint Bodies Are Great For "Scale" Big Rigs
Didn't know where to put this; not really Nylint Tech..............more just body tech...........if tech at all. My "work in progress" TXT/Clod project is waiting on a bunch of parts right now, but the body came in today. And WOW!!! This thing REALLY brings a 16" WB rig on LSTs right down to scale! I couldn't be happier (okay, I lie, it is a little wide) on how this body looks on this wheelbase. I am going to hack on the frame and "seat" protion of the body a little, and hope to bring the body down about 1/2", then trim the body as needed. Probably a little big/heavy for REAL crawling action, but a great fit for the "scale" look. And yes, I know now that I put the body on backwards for the second pic. Just throwing this out there. If you see a 1:6 Nylint body for sale, and you like the detail look of a hard plastic body, they look pretty good IMO. |

Looks awesome. Really you only need like .5" on either side more wheel offset for it to look perfect. Maybe when you bring the body down it'll look more at home. But those tires and everything do look real good with it.

Mongo, the wheels are Imex Plutos. PWT, I think it will look better dropped a little, but the worst part is the rear (which I didn't take a pic of). It Is Wide back There!! In the front, I will probably just remove (cut) the fenders off completely, and it will be okay. In the rear, I think I may have to do a little custom plastic "bobbing." I may have to look into some sort of "mini diamond plate" to cover whatever horrible seams that I am sure I will create by trying that. |

That looks pretty sick. BTW I like those wheels might have to pick up a set.

| I think it looks awesome! Although I don't read every post, (and I've been absent from the site for a bit), I don't believe I've ever seen clod axles on a TXT chassis before. Lookin' good man. I've been thinking of using my 1:18 TJ nylint body with some TLT axles (just not sure where to stick the tranny yet...). -WRM |
