Let's talk about winter preparation of our crawlers... So, winter is upon us, at least those of us here in the Northern Hemisphere. I know some of you are like myself and like to drive the RC all year round, sunshine, rain, clouds, rain and best of all... SNOW! I think good 'ol RCC folks should make a list of things that we all do to prep our rigs for driving them in the nasty elements. I'm getting excited to hit the snow again!! http://www.rcrockgear.com/BC/TeamTri...4/PICT6449.jpg |
Pajero's kick ***, all you have to do is raise the speed control and reciever as high as you can get them and wheel the piss out of it  http://www.elsomething.com/juggajero/DSC04171.JPG |

i wrapped a balloon around the receiver and the super rooster the night before the last orcrc run cuz everyone was saying there would be lots of water. the esc doesnt get hot so i'll prolly just run that and take the balloons off every run to let the condensation (if any) out. |
Last winter all I did was wrap the electronics in saran wrap and have a ball |
I've got a Radioshack project box with all my radio gear in it, kinda like the ol' bruiser boxes, waiting for a good mud puddle! |
2 Attachment(s) Hitec servo case, got to have a small ESC though. |
Winter is when my Kyosho Blizzards come out to play:twisted: |
