Default Intrigued by these little things.

I think I might get one of these little crawlers for the hell of it and maybe my buds will get some and I`ll teach them how to drive off road. The way they are now, if you had to rely on them on the trail, you`re screwed . I was wanting to know what easy, at home mods you could do to these things. And where to you guys find replacement bodies for them? I saw one here with a chevy body that looked soo dang awsome! But I`d rather personally have a superduty body. I haven`t read much about it but I`m guessing that you probably use model / kit bodies on them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There's a ton of info on the forum already, the first mod most do is cut 3-5 coils off the springs.

I figured that would be a good mod to lower it some and it will still have some droop.

All that lift is great looking in the box, but it can't compress the springs under its own weight. Adjust the shock length and get a little more droop as well. Cutting the tires made a pretty big difference in mine as well. Reversing the rear axle allowed a better approach angle and got hung up less. All pretty easy to do.
