| trailer in progress
I really wanted a trailer for my cars. I found some really sweet one on line, but they were way to expensive. I found some on here, but i have limited tools, and a limited budget. The trailer I have build below was built for $24.67, all in one trip to lowes, but the price does not include tires and wheels. All i used for tools was a drill press and a 9in band saw. I forgot to take pics early in the build but it is pretty self explanitory. The frame is 1/2 aluminum angle stock, the wood (which was free) was the 5 gallon paint stir sticks, just cut down. The hitch is a small chain link on the truck side, and a threaded eyelet on the trailer side. the screws you see sticking out are going to have safety chains put on them, then cut down. and the empty triangle in the front is getting a aluminum box built for it. this thing is extremely lite! |

Good thinking on the paint sticks, they look good! Now you need to track down some scale ratchet straps... |

there just glue on ones....i think i'm going to take them off though. I think it's a little to, "bling bling", to have bead locks on a trailer.

Man, I love it! Great use of materials. May do something like it down the road as I also have limited work space and tools.
