You should make it hollow and make it go to the electronics so its like a cold air/ ram air intake!!

"why woould u wanta make a snorkel??? wtf" Hmmm why would you want a body on a RC car? Why would you want paint, headlights, seats, decals, fake beadlocks, "doll driver" and all those other bits n pieces??? I give up I just dont get it, give me a bare chassis anyday..... not |

A guy in the 1:18th scale used a plastic coat hanger, heated and bent to shape...might try something along those lines.

I would think that most snorkle tubes are around 4-4.5". So for 1:6 scale, you'd need 5/8" to 3/4" tube. I'd use a piece of black plastic tubing and heat it up to bend it around some forms. You could even heat up the end and flare it out like the ARB snorkles. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and look around the plumbing isle. Keith |

THe snorkle idea is just what I was wanting to do to my Jeep. I just dont know how to do it yet. If anyone out there has done the snorkle idea I would like to see a pic and how they did it. These Nylints are so much fun and you can do quite a bit of little mods that make a big diffrence |

is the same on a YJ, just comes out the other side, but since these jeeps are modeled after a TJ, you want it out the passenger side

| SPLIT LOOM looks good easy to bend run and shape. can cover it with something afterwords if you want to, or get some colored split loom. This is what Im going to try, and I'll put I machine breather vent on top for an element maybe. |
