Here is the situation I have a CR-01 and axial combination. CR-01 axles and transmission axial chassis plates droop setup pen internal spring 70 weight shock oil fuel tubing for shock limiter 35 turn motor Hitec 645mg servo Mayhem Engineering Bead locks Losi Rock Claws custom foam setup I need some figures I know when you change something testing is necessary to see if it improved the rig or not. What I am asking is where to start on how much stick on lead weight to add to my rig, front and rear. I would just something to start with and go from there. I'm posting here because there are only 3 crawlers like mine. One is Germany and was never finished one is in Atlanta and I don't believe he is modifying it to compete. I got the idea from LifeRacer from Germany. Kmrunner and I followed LifeRacer's build and made our own. CR-01 with Axial Chassi Plates Kmrunner's Axial Chassis Conversion here is my build up. well i can tell you what im running. i have an axial based tuber im running now nothing special. but you really have to play with weight to figure out what works for your rig. i started off running 6 oz in each front tire and 3 3/4 oz in each of my rear tires. i recently went to 11 1/2 oz in each front and 7 1/4 in each rear. havent ran my latest config yet so can say much about it (i hate the rainy season). hope this helps you in finding what works for you.
