One nice advantage for the HR axles is that you can run pretty much any standard 2.2 beadlock rims available. No special offsets needed. One advantage for the Bergs is that they are 100% complete. HR axles require additional parts, as they are designed to replace the AX-10 axle, so naturally they re-use a few standard Axial parts. To a point, because of this, some parts will be more easily replaced when you run the HR axles. Some say the Bergs a little more durable. Both seem to be a good axles. They are alike in many ways. Heck, some even upgrade the HR internals to the stronger Berg parts. I have some HR axles and like them so far. Haven't got much runtime on them yet, though. |
