Tamiya Bruiser
 

I have a vintage tamiya bruiser and I would like to make it into a rock crawler but I haven't seen or heard of any modifications that have been done to be a good rock crawler. I have heard that they can make a good crawler but I don't know what to do to make it into a good crawler any suggestions would be great.

I was wondering I couldn't find anything through the search but How can you make a bruiser into a crawler that can actually climb some rocks?

with stock axles, not much, but search chino63

The bruiser axles aren't particularly strong, the trans is rather large (high center of gravity is bad) and all the parts are hard to find, not to mention expensive. I'm not gonna say it's impossible, but you'd be far better off selling it and using the proceeds to buy an axial, venom, berg etc... The only custom builds I've seen were scale builds, which try to look realistic while sacrificing performance. For more on that, look into some of chino63's or 1badjeepbruiser's builds, or search for bruiser, mountaineer, hi-lux or blazing blazer (all of which were similar trucks)
At the end of the day the best you're really going to get out of a bruiser is a cool scaler, which is a pretty cool thing. But if you want a competition level truck you're far better off starting with something newer.
