| New Nylint Crawler Modded and going Hobby Grade, Mods!
Well i decided to tear it apart and see what i can do to it and im here so far just need to get some electronics, servo mount and cover backs of axles and wheels. Its locked in low gear, and new belts from autozone, Radio Shack project box for electronics, axles trimed to where i wanted them, rear motor moved, chassis i just threw together but works and flex is very good. Some edges and stuff looks rough in pics but ill make it smooth and cleaner once its almost done and ill get good pics need to get cover for these axles not the best but motor moved just a body laying around Last edited by KFX700; 03-06-2009 at 02:29 PM. Wow.....Haven't seen a Nylint for a while......I remember when they had their own section on here. I had 6 of them at one point but gave up when parts were no longer available. They are alot of fun, just hard to keep them in running condition |

I am building a scratch made torsion frame that is basically a prototype(opposing springs that I can change easily for more or less flex)...I was wondering how that chassis can flex at all with the bolts through both plates? Are you planning on sticking some type of bushing or flex point between them? Maybe I have to see a video of the flex to understand... JB |

Like everyone else, I remember them being all the rage. I had 3 6h scales and 1 18th scale. I still have one of the 6th scale rigs that is stock and working but it does need a belt in the rear axle. I also have a Scorpion body hanging in my garage.

That looks great. Its hard to believe its a Nylint. Let us now how it works on the rocks. Like everyone else I remember when they had there own section so its cool to see a build again. I gave up on my 1/18 when other projects came along. Yours makes me wish I wouldn't have. Great work.
