Default Whats your thoughts on a few crawlers?

Wow,it said I havent been here since oct. 2004!!!
Its good to see good sites are still around
I come and go into rc,It always seems to get me around spring time, and this time around I think I want another crawler. Lat time I was here I owned a TXT,I liked it and might even get another one just because it looked so cool moving through grass, mud and hills "although I thought it wasnt the greatest rock crawler,it tipped over alot"
But im not a serious comp crawler, mostly mess around in the yard and the creek bed,Just want something fun.
I was looking at the axial trucks,Is there a big difference between kits? I get the rtr version vs the artr, but whats the kit version,,,is it the same as the ARTR you just get to build it? and I also see they have a newer version out sx or something like that?
Someone told me I should look into a Himoto crawler,I seen pics,it seemed decent, lots of aluminum and a decent price tag. But I never heard of that brand, wasnt sure how they are,If they replacement parts easy to get,as well as hop ups and just overall quality?
Im not sure if I want another txt or clod type truck or these newer crawlers out.
Well let me know what you think is a good, fun truck. Also I dont want to spend a ton just getting into it,maybe around $300ish
Good to be back!

Spend $20 for a star and check out the clasified section. You can pick up a completly built used rig that'll hands down beat anything you'll get off the shelf for 1/2 the price. I've bought 2 RTR outfits from there and saved over a $1000. Check the vender section too, they've got good deals for members and the star should you get it gives you the right to enter all the drawings taking place ALL the time.

yep like the top post said, check out the for sale section, i bought an artr from the store and in order to get it to where it is now i'm in for about 900 bucks, i've seen the same or better in the for sale section for half the price.

Just hang out look at the pics and get your paypal ready
