Default cutting suspension links

my scorpion has about 100 degrees of flex but i want more . if you cut the tabs on the suspension arms that slide in the oval hole on the side of the chassis. will this give that much more flex or make stuff bind just wondering what u guys think. thanks

I personaly dont think it will do much, wont do much in the front cause of the body hitting the axle. And the rear, if you still run shocks, that also limits it.

Are you kidding or are you trying to build an RC slinky, 70 degrees of articulation is plenty.

i use to run mine and got 90 degrees flex all round and it was fun for indoor wheeling as i would ramp up on walls u name it i would get a wheel up onto it,
i tried it outdoors and found that it was pretty crappy with that much uncontrollable flex so i have put my shocks back on and now im getting about 75 degree's and with a problem in the front diff it still crawls very well

If you cut the tabs and rotate the recipricating cuff 180* on both the front and rear axles, then pin that down solid with some sheet metal, JB weld, or super glue (whatever you have should work). Then all you have to do is mount the shocks transverse to the chassis link position tabs (which will arc the shocks back slightly) resulting in atleast 130* of articulation! Its insane!

I'd get pics but, y'know... ;)

YEah i fount that that much flex isnt useful. The axles get into a bind and get stuck sometimes. Its for for playin on walls and stuff but on the rocks i dont think its good for anything.
